MURRAY ROOM

The second floor Murray Room is perhaps our coziest guestroom, and features a queen sized four poster beehive bed with a pillow-top mattress, plasma TV and a gas fireplace.

The décor is sunny and plush: blue and yellow toile fabrics, blue and white porcelain vases, a dainty writing desk and an antique silvered mirror make this room gracious and exceedingly charming.

The large white tiled bathroom has a combined whirlpool Jacuzzi and shower, a second plasma TV, and a make up vanity, and handcrafted shower linens that match the guestroom's rich drapery.

As in all our guestrooms, The Murray Room is equipped with the finest Italian linens, Frette robes and plush bath sheets, central air conditioning, ironing facilities and wireless internet access.

The Murray Room is a true gem; tucked away and intimate this is a snug and secret place to spend your getaway in luxury.

The Murray Room is named for the home's longtime owner, the Hon. Florence K. Murray who served as the first woman member of both the RI General Assembly and the state's Supreme Court, established the Family Court system in RI, and lived here for 50 years.
